We finished decorating Jesse’s bedroom almost exactly four years ago. Although his door *still* needs a lick of paint, it’s always felt like a room that’s ‘done’, especially in comparison to the rest of the first floor.
As such, I haven’t really had the urge to tweak things or play around with the overall look. Jess still loves his bright, colourful bedroom and it works well for both rest and play.
However, when I spotted Christy were launching a range of luxury children’s bedding, I immediately wanted to update the space.
As I’ve said before, switching to high-quality, beautiful bed linen has made a huge difference to my quality of sleep.

The bedding works perfectly with the existing decor and I think it’s transformed the very basic and affordable IKEA furniture used throughout.
The quality is everything I’ve come to expect from Christy and the embroidery is particularly exquisite. I’m also very taken with the super-soft jersey sheet. It’s exactly the kind of material you want next to your little one’s skin.
