After months of plotting and planning, I’m thrilled to finally reveal Love Audrey’s new look. As you can see, it’s quite a departure from the blog’s previous incarnation, but I hope you’ll agree that it’s perfect for me and my little corner of the internet.
As much as I loved the sweet illustrations, feminine florals and pastel pink flourishes of the old design, I began to feel I had outgrown them a little while ago.
A lot has happened in the six years I’ve been writing this blog and I think it goes without saying that I’m a very different person to the one who published that first post on Blogger all those years ago. While I’ve dabbled in different designs since then, I believe the new branding created by Jolly Edition not only captures who I am now, but also what Love Audrey has become.
For as long as I’ve been self-employed, the blog has functioned as an online portfolio for my writing. While I’ve always been able to secure projects on the basis of what I post here, Love Audrey never truly reflected the way I choose to conduct myself professionally.
I needed to create an online space that could represent my freelance work and sell my services, without losing sight of what my blog is all about. As readers, you should also find it easier to navigate and more enjoyable to browse.
Conspicuous in her absence, you may have noticed Audrey Hepburn no longer appears on these pages. It was not a decision I took lightly. Both in real life and online, my persona is closely associated with her image, so much so that many of my friends and family say they cannot look at Audrey without thinking of me!
To be clear, my passion for her films and the love I have for her as an actress and a human being continues unabated. She is, and always will be, my idol, but if my new branding reflects who I am as a person, then it also captures the essence of Audrey and the huge influence she has had on me.
Despite its distinctive new look, Love Audrey remains what it always has been; a place where I document my day-to-day life for all to see. I shall continue to share the recipes that fuel my family, the places that inspire us and anything that makes me smile. My hope is that through the stories and experiences I share on these pages, you’ll continue to find inspiration for food, beauty, fashion, interior design and life in general. Don’t worry, my weekend posts aren’t going anywhere either!
So, take a look around and explore. I’m sure there will be a few tweaks that need to be made here and there, but technical glitches aside, this is the beginning of an exciting new chapter!
Love Audrey xxx
PS. Why not sign up to my brand new mailing list while you’re here?
I love it and have missed your posts! Really like the layout, well done!! xx
Thank you! I should be back to more regular posting now that I’ve got the relaunch out of the way! So pleased you like it. xxx
It’s perfect Franky and a perfect post as always. Good luck with your new chapter xx
Thanks so much Allie, you’re always so full of encouragement. It really means a lot. xxx
wow, it certainly is a massive change, and for the better! Your new style is sleek, still feminine but oh so clean – I love it!
I recently completely changed my site too, well not just my site, I completely re-branded. It is slightly daunting to leave things behind but there comes a point in your professional life where you outgrow your existing style, and to continue to move up, you need to move on.
My re-brand was quite radical, I went from a retro inspired, cinematic theme to full on clean, contemporary colours and space.
Your blog is one of the few I do actually seek out to read so I love that it is now even eaiser for me to do.
Jo x
Thank you Jo, I’m so pleased you approve. I totally agree about moving on to move up too. I had reached a point where I didn’t even direct potential clients to my site as it just didn’t fit the way I presented myself otherwise.
Your re-brand look incredible! Very dramatic as you say, but I think you nailed it!

Ah, thanks so much – I am really happy with it.
I know what you mean about not directing clients to it. I was exactly the same and always pointed them at my clients sites. Not any more though, for either of us! Congrats again on your restyle x
I love it – congratulations! It seems much much more ‘you’.
The new design is something you should really feel proud of. I’m sure you’ll be turning new work away in no time.
Sarah xx
p.s. can’t wait for the weekend posts to start again!
Thanks Sarah, it’s definitely more ‘me’, although the old design was perfect a few years ago too.
There’ll be a new weekend post on Sunday. They look so smart in their new layout, I can’t wait to publish it!

Congratulations, It looks great! Hope you’re feeling better too.x
Love the new look Franky, I think you’ve made a bold (but wonderfully on point) decision 🙂
Hi Franky,
I’ve been reading your blog for quite some time now (first time commenting!), and really enjoy your posts. Just wanted to wish you all the best….I love the new look!
So pleased you left a comment Joanne, what a lovely blog you have. Thanks for your kind words about the new design too. xxx
I think it’s beautiful. Simple and elegant. Perfectly Audrey.
Thank you Nicole, I’m so pleased you approve!
I love the new look, it totally suits you. Always nice to change the look sometimes, I do think that although the content is most important, the look and feel of a blog is a close second, especially if using it professionally 🙂
